Hey loves,
Oh how I wish I lived the days of being about to focus on content and planning out great lifestyle and business planning. The great thing about my life right now is that I can take more freedom in the summer because my full time job is in education. When you first start on this journey and dive into this occupation called blogging, it takes your breathe away.
The pure momentum of it all and the ups and downs of bursts of creativity themselves are enough. The ideas flow, you find opportunity in everything. You will find yourself diving into learning all kinds of new skills that you never thought you would touch.
For example, I found myself hating the process of editing in photoshop. Now I realize that I don’t edit as much as I use it to create innovative picture frames. So on a given day, this is what it looks like.
- I shoot my life on my iPhone or my camera
- I work or edit business worksheets in indesign.
- I look at Final Cut pro edition videos
- I edit my own videos
- I plan out content for videos and blog content
- I cook dinner for my family
- I do homework (when school is in session)
- I watch other peoples content
- I read something inspirational and something for entertainment
- I strategize everyday on what I should be doing in the future and write it down
- I market all my businesses
- I work on individual projects for my clients
- I record podcast content on anchor
- I plan social media content
- I learn something new about what I want to incorporate soon
Everyday will bring about different tasks at hand, but most center around content creation. In the digital space, that will be your most important. Good Daily Content, written, live and recorded. So I am now at a crossroads. Do I take the leap? When do I take the leap? I have kids, mortgage and tuition and its just me. I am holding my cards right now until God sees fit for something to move in my life. So timing is everything. Every step I take everyday is everything. I am willing to do the work and boy is it a lot.
My days are literally full, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Until Next Time….
