Dear Fabpreneurs,

It's coming. Are you ready? How will you take your Digital Businesses to the next level.

Over the last few weeks, I put myself under extreme pressure trying to make Fetch happen (Yes I am still using and loving this word in 2017). I wanted to accomplish something amazingly great. I wanted to put out a business productivity planner and got completely lost in building my content, only to realize that I pretty much had it all built out and I just should have hit the print button.  (But I have a backup plan)

I get so over zealous with trying to help others that sometimes I loose my way. That is one of my flaws. Like I have ignored two clients this year because of it and now I have to make it up to them and help them launch their mobile apps. (that's a whole other story)

Moving on. It's time to set it all in motion. If you have been following me, then you know that I have finally conquered my fear of vlogging and turned this website into a complete resource for Business, Lifestyle and Fashion (my complete TriFecta). I love doing Youtube. I have wanted to do it for the last 5 years. I can't believe it took this long. But apparently it was supposed to.

Okay I am rambling.

I don't want you to go into 2017 without a clear plan of what you want to accomplish. I mean it. Don't you dare blurt out, "This is going to be my year!!" (from every rooftop) and you don't have a plan.

You are lying to yourself. Period!!!

So let's do it together. On January 1, 2017 You are going to join me for a free webinar and we are going to create your 2017 plan of action.

Click Here (link coming) and I will see you there complete with your 2017 planning notebook and stylish pen!!!

A Holiday In The City

If I haven't said this before, Christmas is my favorite holiday. However, this year my feelings are a little all over the place. The one solid that I have is that I know that changes all around me are eminent.

So I felt festive enough, to put my three holiday looks up for 3 different events that I have/had to attend.

Look One

So I had this gold dress in my closet FOREVER!!! There will be no link for it. I did get it from H&M in New York on 5th avenue some years ago. That is all I can recall about it.

I wore this for the first time when I filmed my Christmas Gift Guide 2016. But I didn't love it. I certainly didn't like it enough to not layer it. I am very particular about layering at 42. I feel like the young girls do it so well. It's a trend that I am playing with. We shall see where it takes me.

Look Two

I will let you in on a little secret. I have shot this dress 3X. And by far this is my favorite. It is something about this rooftop that has me thinking how amazing it could be to wear this to a holiday party. I paired this with a leather bracelet and my favorite mirrored sunnies and some mesh booties.

Look Three

For this look, I really wanted to focus on the skirt. It was my favorite piece. So I got a super soft off white tank and my new favorite holiday suede heels matched with the sparkly clutch.

And yes, I know its December. SO pull out that Faux Fur and let your arms remain free in the party while you dance the night away. I promise you won't be as hot as everyone else.

Look Four

For this look, I did the same thing with the top except I choose a sparkle one. Remember fashion is supposed to be playful and fun. So let me play with textures in December because honestly I have never followed any rules.

These fur collars give me life. I have three of them. I loved them so much, I decided to put them on my retail site. They are season staples and will never go out of style.

Confession

I wear open toed shoes all year round. It really just depends on my mood.

Style Break: A Nude Sneaker on a Sunday Afternoon

So Life in my 40's has been a tad different than what I expected. You know how you imagine what your life will look like when you get to a certain age. Well one thing, I never thought would become a staple in my life is a High Top Sneaker.

So like everyone else, I first fell in love with the new bejeweled designer versions of these. However, I couldn't fathom that price. Every time I tried to validate a reason to get them, I would feel guilty about it because the money could be spent elsewhere.

However, on a Overnight Bestie Trip I took to Homecoming at Frostburg 2016, we stopped at the outlet mall. And I walked into Aldo and saw these babies. I was absolutely in love. They are comfortable, chic, nude and affordable. I highly recommend these.

They are so good, I brought them in both colors. Click the link and get these baddies immediately. They are available in Aldo Outlet Stores nationwide.

That One Time Against That Oxblood Wall

There is a story behind this wall. I was driving with my daughter after I picked her up from school having a very normal conversation. As I am driving I see this pop of color out of my side eye and I get this jolt of inspiration. I have been dying to find a RED wall in Baltimore.

So as I drive with my now tired teenager, she sees the glimmer in my eyes and knows that she is about to be out here at 5:30ish (we have lost all good shooting light) with my Iphone 6plus to do some werk.

The other great inspiration and motivation behind this is that this video ended up being my first LOTW for my youtube launch.

EndNote:

Inspiration hits you anywhere. Just be prepared to move on it. I never planned the looks. I ran home, did my hair, put together some looks and shot video and 5 looks. Three of them are featured here on this blog post. Watch the youtube video. Links to outfits are in the description.

Decked Out In Decadence

I am soooo super late with this post but I did not want to fully embrace November without sharing one of my favorite scents. Perfume is a vital part of my life and it helps me express who I am.

A strong scent brings out my strength, my ability to tackle any hurdle and my willingness to be bold and try new things.

A sweet and subtle scent turns me into a giddy woman who channels her inner girl and who becomes playful, soft and open to try anything thats fun and flirty.

My November choice for the Perfume of the month is Marc Jacobs Decadence.

I probably stalked it for a while before I added it into my monthly budget and purchased it.

I have two rules for Perfume.

1.) I stalk and make sure I love it and it fits into my life on a regular basis.

2.) I, 90% of the time will only purchase it if I can get it on sale, have a coupon or I can get a discount.

Side Bar: This color on my nails is Sally Hansen " Greyfitti". This has been one of my favorite at home manicure products. It literally lasts up to 9 days and not 12 like the bottle says.

If you want a strong stand out scent, then this is the one. I love the deep tones of this. I know that there is a newer version of this one but this original is everything. It reminds me of being a grown woman in control of her life.

Don't forget to connect with me everywhere.

The Bomber Jacket at 40.

I hate to use the word trend. I feel like it is the most overused word in the dictionary. I even searched the thesaurus for another word and decided to stick with Flow.

This blog post is geared towards styling the Bomber jacket for our age group (40 and over). And in case you didn't know this, I am a 42 year old vibrant, phenomenal mom, life enthusiast and entrepreneur turned blogger (because I actually love it).

If you fall into that same category you should definitely follow my youtube channel and subscribe to this blog through bloglovin or here in site.

So I took this seasons most coveted Style Flow but choose one that had a little bit of edge to it with the tweed details. I also paired it with a Faux Fur Collar to add a little bit of a luxe factor. I know that I will not wear it every time like this.

This sequin clutch was just an added bonus!!!
